The Empty Vessel Project
It may not be up for much longer due to creative differences, but I'm rather
proud of a new web design that went live last week. It's for
The Empty Vessel Project.
Acording to the web site it is
"an action, art, and sustainability
experiment. We salvaged EV, a WWII rescue boat, to create a space for
re-imagining the post-industrial urban environment. We are a non-profit,
volunteer-run organization and encourage participation on all levels."
It should be an interesting few weeks of comparing and contrasting the new
version to my version. I'll keep a
permanant link to my code.

New web site launch
I just put some
finishing touches
on a web site for a very cool project that
just had it's six month aniversary party. If you live in Brooklyn, check it out
the next time there's an event. With luck you'll find out about it by
subscribing to the event feed on upcoming.org.

It's snowing! A lot!
It snowed today. A whole lot. I
took
pictures and ate brunch at
Balthazar. I
felt pretty fabulous, really.

Free pizza is something which benefits humanity
In my neighborhood there are not one, but two drinking establishments which
will give you a 10 inch brick oven pizza for $0 if you buy a drink, which will
cost you at least $4.50 for cheap beer. This is amazing. This is also dangerous
and addictive. I can't remember all the times that I have ended up at
the
Alligator Lounge at 2AM and drunkenly ordered another and...got a pizza to go
with! The other place is called
Capones. If you live in Brooklyn, hell if you
live in Manhattan or even Queens go there. It's fun.
